How to Apply
Apply for Admission
Merit-based scholarship evaluation begins automatically once your application and credentials are received. There is no separate scholarship application.
File the FAFSA
Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid as soon as it opens in October. Be sure to include Batten University's school code so we receive your results. Filing by the priority deadline gives you the best chance at need-based funding.

Review Your Award Letter
Once you're admitted and your FAFSA has been received, we'll send your financial aid award notification. Your package may include merit-based scholarships, need-based grants, federal and state aid, loans, and Work & Learn eligibility.
Accept Your Awards
Accept or decline each component of your award through the Financial Aid Self Service (FASS) portal in MyBeacon. Grant funding is limited — students who respond promptly are best positioned to receive their full package.
First-time loan borrowers: complete Entrance Counseling and sign your Master Promissory Note at studentaid.gov before funds are disbursed.
