Residential Leadership
The Residential Leadership Program consists of Resident Assistants (RAs), student leaders placed on every floor of our residential buildings. RAs foster community through unique programming and daily engagement with residents.
Responsibilities
- Attend Fall and Spring training sessions
- Assist in opening and closing of residence halls
- Attend weekly meetings
- Develop and implement floor programs that build community
- Participate in a duty rotation within the assigned village
- Complete administrative tasks appropriate to the position
Compensation
Students selected for a position receive a $4,200 tuition credit ($2,100 per semester) applied directly to their student account.
Requirements
- Full-time student (registered for at least 12 credits)
- Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Good standing with the university — no major conduct concerns
- Must have been a student at Batten University for at least one year
- Residential living experience preferred but not required
