Communications Honor Society Welcomes New Students

Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Va. - Virginia Wesleyan College’s chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the undergraduate communication studies honor society for the National Communication Association, welcomed nine new members into its chapter on Thursday, April 15.
To become a member of Lambda Pi Eta, students must have a minimum of 3.0 overall GPA; maintain a minimal 3.25 GPA in Communications/Journalism courses; have completed at least 60 semester hours with at least 12 semester hours of communication study; and display commitment to the field of communications.
Virginia Wesleyan’s Lambda Pi Eta chapter organizes and participates in a number of events, including chapter service projects, guest speakers, and the yearly video screening.
