Thirty-One New Students Join Omicron Delta Kappa
The national leadership honor society welcomes its newest students on Sunday, April 11.

Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Va. - Virginia Wesleyan College inducted 31 new student members into Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), the national leadership society, on Sunday, April 11, in the Monumental Chapel.
Founded in 1914 at Washington & Lee University in Lexington Va., ODK is the national leadership honor society that recognizes the following five categories: 1) Scholarship, 2) Athletics, 3) Campus/Community Service, Social and Religious Activities, and Campus Governance, 4) Journalism, Speech, and Mass Media, and 5) Creative and Performing Arts.
“The induction ceremony of new ODK students is a time of recognition and celebration,” said Dean of Students David Buckingham. “Each spring, I look forward to a new group of campus leaders.”
