The Chronicle of Higher Education's survey recognizes institutions for best practices and policies.
Norfolk/Virginia Beach, Va. – The results of The Chronicle of Higher Education's survey of Great Colleges to Work For 2009 were released July 6, with Virginia Wesleyan College receiving honors in the “small-sized” institution (2,999 or fewer students) category.
The Great Colleges to Work For program recognizes institutions for best practices and policies in 26 categories for four-year colleges. Within those categories, colleges are classified based on enrollment. The survey results are based on responses from more than 41,000 administrators, faculty members and staff members at 300 colleges and universities.
