VWC Concert Series Presents the Manhattan Piano Trio

One of America’s most dynamic classical music ensembles, the trio performs live at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12 in the Hofheimer Theater.

Malina Strezeva (piano), Wayne Lee (violin), and Dmitry Kouzov (cello) have been welcomed by enthusiastic audiences in over 30 states and across three continents since the Trio began performing in 2004, and this year they released their third album on the Marquis Classics label.  They will perform works by Schumann and Chopin.

The 2010-11 Fine Arts series at Virginia Wesleyan College offers an exciting array of events for the college community and all of Hampton Roads.  From ever-changing installations in the Neil Britton Art Gallery in Hofheimer Library and the Barclay Sheaks Gallery in Godwin Hall, to main stage productions of contemporary plays by Christopher Durang and Lisa Loomer in Hofheimer Theater, plus more than a dozen exhilarating vocal and instrumental concerts, the Arts at Virginia Wesleyan are dedicated to stimulating the senses and broadening the liberal arts experience.
