Progress Report Instructions

Mid-semester progress report grades and/or comments can be recorded for your students in WebAdvisor at any time through Sunday, October 12, 2025. Click on Midterm and Final Grading with Rubrics Rosters to get started.

Recording grades of C– and below is especially important, but you may record all grades if you choose. Comments — both canned and free-form — are extremely helpful to students and advisors alike. This is also a good opportunity to give successful students some positive reinforcement.

If you need to post grades or comments after October 13, please inform your class to check WebAdvisor for your late entries. You may also submit an academic alert for any special concerns about a student.

Why This Matters

• Students need to see grades and comments in black and white — even when they may already have a sense of their performance.
• Advisors depend on this information to support their advisees effectively.
• New students are of particular interest, as some may come before the Committee on Academic Standing at semester's end.
• Students on academic probation are tracked by the Learning Resource Center and Academic Alert staff.
