Off The Hook event programming

Off The Hook provides social, educational, and community-building activities on campus, with a primary focus on weekend events. As the primary programming arm of the Office of Student Engagement, Off The Hook consists of six Event Supervisors who develop leadership and teamwork skills, provide quality entertainment for peers, and promote campus traditions.

Event Supervisors are employed through the Work and Learning Program. Applicants must be full-time, undergraduate students of Batten University who are in good judicial standing and have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA.

Event Supervisor Positions

  • Cultural & Campus Traditions — events such as Egg Hunt, Halloween Activities, Tree Lighting, Month Celebrations, and more.
  • Movies and Games — events such as Movies on the Lawn, Grocery Bingo, and game shows.
  • Music & Variety Performances — events such as Name that Tune and local artist performances.
  • Novelties and Giveaways — events such as Make Your Own Terrarium, Phone Wallets, Stuff a Stuffed Animal, and Street Signs.
  • Recreation and Outdoor Activities — events such as Splash Contest, Laser Tag, Bubble Soccer, and Goat Yoga.
