Hampton Roads College Success Scholarship

Batten University and Tidewater Community College have been good neighbors serving Coastal Virginia for many years. In recognition of that relationship, Batten has established a scholarship program intended to celebrate academic success and shared hometown values.

Hampton Roads College Success Scholarship recipients receive a scholarship valued at $10,000 per academic year. Upon satisfactory academic performance during the first year of study at Batten, the award is renewed for a second year.

Eligibility Requirements

• Successful completion of an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or Associate of Fine Arts degree at Tidewater Community College while a resident of one of the following Hampton Roads cities:
  • Chesapeake
  • Hampton
  • Newport News
  • Norfolk
  • Portsmouth
  • Suffolk
  • Virginia Beach
• Enrollment in a full-time course of study as a traditional day student at Batten within one year of graduation from TCC.
