Recertification and Continuing Education Program for Educators

Batten University’s Recertification and Continuing Education Program for Educators offers a significant discount for licensed and provisionally licensed teachers in Virginia. This program is designed for educators who need courses that lead to certification renewal or who wish to advance from a provisional to an official license.

Educators may take courses at the undergraduate or graduate level. Those who provide proof of their Virginia Department of Education licensure — provisional or official — can register through this program and receive a 50% discount off the current cost per credit hour for online and evening and weekend students. Courses are available in person or online (asynchronous).

This is a non-degree-seeking program.

To receive your discount, submit the Recertification and Continuing Education Program Discount Request Form to the Financial Aid Office each term you register, along with proof of licensure.
