Batten University issues refunds in two situations:
- When a student's total payments (federal aid, scholarships, out-of-pocket, etc.) exceed their total charges.
- When a student has paid their tuition and withdraws during the refund period.
Refunds of credit balances from federal aid begin after the drop/add period each semester. All other refunds must be requested by completing a Student Refund Request. If your credit balance is from an out-of-pocket overpayment, Batten University's policy is to wait 30 days from the payment posting date before processing the refund.
Yes — any student can open a Marlin Cash account. If you have a credit balance from aid, awards, or loans, all or part of it can be transferred to your Marlin Cash account. If no credit is available, you can add funds directly by completing the Marlin Cash enrollment form.
