Federal Perkins Loans

If you borrowed a Federal Perkins Loan at Batten University, you are required to complete an exit interview before you graduate or terminate your enrollment. Follow the instructions below to satisfy this requirement.

EasyPath Online and Mobile Access

Create your EasyPath profile to manage your account online — including payments, electronic statements, payment history, and document access.

• Go to Heartland ECSI
• Register by creating a profile
• Connect your account using your HeartlandKey

The EasyPath mobile app is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Repayment

Batten University contracts with Heartland ECSI to manage its Federal Perkins Loan program through repayment. Heartland ECSI is the point of contact for all billing, payments, deferments, and cancellations.

Borrowers can view their Perkins Loan account, download forms, update their address, and make online payments by logging into the Heartland ECSI website.

Default

Default occurs when a Perkins borrower becomes past due on their loan. The consequences of default are serious, and many options are available to help you avoid it. If you are experiencing difficulty managing payments, contact Heartland ECSI immediately at 888-549-3274.
